Tertiary assistance for Broome high schools

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the State Government, the Catholic Education Office and Notre Dame University will allow students in Broome’s high schools access to tertiary expertise with the chance to attend workshops and access curriculum experts in the areas of career and academic counselling, English, science and maths.

An 18 month trial of the Academic Extension Program will see Year 11 and 12 students Broome Senior High School and St Mary’s College attending workshops and activities at University of Notre Dame and the Kimberley TAFE. To ensure a high-quality program for these students, experts will be flown to Broome from Perth to present workshops and activities.
